Creativity keeps me sane.
Scrapbooking & other crafts keep me sane & feeling even-keeled, productive, worthwhile. I use SB as a form of journaling, emotional art therapy, & documentation of the life we live. I also like reading, and spending time with my family & dog. I’m a introverted person who needs to recharge alone.
I have some major autoimmune health concerns. These have caused major tendon & ligament problems in my hands, & wrists. My creative endeavors in crafts actually are a struggle to complete. I love it, though, & refuse to give my arts up until I absolutely have to!
I’m in my 30s, married in February 2013; together with DH since 2008. In 2013, I became a Latter Day Saint, aka I’m a Mormon! His teen daughter visits on weekends. My cavadoodle dog lives with us. After 6 years in a 1 bedroom bulging at the seams with my crafty stuff, we have moved mid-summer to a 2 bedroom apartment. And I finally have my own place to craft! Turns out that my jokes that I owned more craft and art supplies than anything else wasn’t really a joke.
I used to sew, knit & quilt until my hands couldn’t do it anymore in spring of 2015.
